About

Our Luncheon Talks

FFSF talks are luncheons held on the second Monday of each month from September through May.  Guest speakers are given 30 minutes for their presentation and another 30 minutes for questions. Views expressed by the speakers are not necessarily those of FFSF. Forum programs are recorded and rebroadcast on WUFT-FM and WJUF-FM at 3:00 PM on the last Saturday of each month.

Please register for the talks to receive instructions for joining each meeting.  Talks are now hosted virtually on ZOOM.

Our Organization

Active since 1980, the Florida Free Speech Forum (FFSF) is a lecture series that provides a place in our community for open and constructive dialogue. The FFSF is an independent, non-affiliated organization dedicated to the rational examination of public issues.

As an expression of the rational examination of ideas through free speech, the Florida Free Speech Forum, Inc., seeks the enhancement of life and freedom. This organization is open to public participation and endorses a belief in open and constructive dialogue.

Purposes of the Florida Free Speech Forum

  1. To advocate, protect, and defend freedom of speech through open dialogue.
  2. To provide monthly forums, seminars, and workshops at which persons of every belief and political persuasion may be heard and questioned.
  3. To provide a platform for the rational examination of public issues and community concerns, particularly those of social, political, economic, cultural, and environmental importance to Florida.
